I Was Asked To Disenroll From the JCTC P.N. Nursing Program On September 3,2024 .I Was Told I Failed the MAE Math Test. If The First Test Is Failed There Will Be 2 More Chances To Take The Test.This Test Is Given To Proceed Into The Clinical Portion Of The Program, Clinicals Are Schedualed For The Third Semester The Summer Semester Of The P.N. Program.All Summer Sessions Are Held In June 2024. On the First Day Of Class August 19,2024 I Was Singled Out By Name By an Instructor, Her Statement "I will Never Pass Jeanetta Craney In My Class". Made In Front Of The Entire Class.This Created A Hostile And Uncomfortable Enviornment, Isolating Me From the Other Students. But I Still Attended Class..Upon Being Told Of My Failed Test .I Began Studying And Taking The ATI Computer Recorded Test My ATI Computer Recorded Scores For this Same Test Were 100% Correct. I Was Approached And Singled Out During Class And Told To Take My Second Test At Lunch Time, I Did Not Show For The Test Schedualed For That Morning 7:00-9:00 am.This Test Also Given Outside Of School Hours. Once Again Being Told That I Failed. The Test A Printed Handout.With Pencils The Students Were Told A Calculator Could Be Used,My Second Test Was Given By A Non-Instructor Of the Program The Calculator I Was Given Was Broken And Did Not Work,I Brought this To The Attention Of The Instructors To No Avail. Being Told I’d Have One Last Time To Test. I Was Then Given My Last Test Date The Hours 7:00-9:00 Am Outside Of School Hours Given A Printout and No Calculator .Being Told the Test Results Would Be Given At Lunch Time. I Was Told Once Again I’d Failed.Then Asked To Disenroll From The Program.I Then Gathered My ATI Test Scores With the Recorded Scores Of 100% And Attempted To Meet with The Head Of The Nursing Department, I Recieved An E-mail From Instead. Not the Head Of the Nursing Department Stating She Wanted to Be Transparent In The Decision.I’d Not Be Able To Do The Work and Would Not Be Able To Keep Up With The Class. I Was Devestated. I Had Been Singled Out From The First Day Of Class, the Entire Program Had Been Altered, The Class Meeting Changed From Room 166A On the first Floor To the Second Floor 252 No Prior Notification Of Room Change Given No sign On the First Floor Door Or Chalkboard,Nor On the Second Floor 252 Door Or Chalkboard In the Classrooms. The Make Up Test Given Outside Of School Hours These Hours No One Is Allowed On the Campus, No Access To the Building, For Students Or Teachers, Only School Maintenance And Security, Are Allowed On The Campus At These Hours.The Initial MAE Math Test Is Given To Proceed To Clinicals Which Is Schedualed According To the Semester Program For The Last Semester The Summer Session, The Altered Clinicals Hours And Days Were Given The 3rd Week Of the First Semester On September 3,2024, the Program had Only Began August 19,2024, The Entire Program Had Been Changed,and Altered.Because Of The Hostile Attitude From tThis Instructor. I Made Sure all Of My ATI Assignments Were Completed Before Due Dates, and All Class Work Was Current I Had Not MIssed any Days and Was Not Behind In Assignments or Class Work..but Because Of This Instructor Prejudice And Unprofessionalism, She altered My Entire Life and Academic Goal, My Financial Aid Work Study Job At the Library, My Application To Work As A Student Nurse At U of L Collabrotive Mobility Program CMP For the Weekends A Student Nurse Position That Would Have Led To A Position Of Permanant Employment.My Financial Became Financial Aid Ineligible Unable To Pursue This Career At Another College.I Noticed Upon Each Test Given The Class Kept Losing Students Each Class Meeting. With Outside People Showing Up In The Class Class.
The JCTC Finacial Aid has Charged Me And Demanding The Full Tuition for The Semester, I Recieved Financial Aid Through The FAFSA Government Grants.
I Have Copies Of All Completed Class Assignments To The Date Of Requested Disenrollment.With Dates And Time Frames.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Senate Bill 181 was signed into law in April but actually went into effect two weeks ago.
The bill says educators cannot talk to students outside of school via social media or text, unless its through a traceable platform that the district has designated, or if parents give written consent.
ACCORDING TO SENATE BILL 181 THE TEST GIVEN OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL HOURS IS ILLEGAL.AND AGAINST THE LAW,PAIGE SPRINKLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A LIFE ALTERING ILLEGAL ACT.NONE OF THE TESTS GIVEN ARE TRACEABLE TO ANY SCHOOL RECORDS.
